Cantus Festival - September 18, 2012

Choral Festival Flyer
Choral Festival Registration Form

I'm excited to tell you about a choral festival for your male singers featuring the professional men's group Cantus. The festival will be on Tuesday, September 18th at Lipscomb University. The morning will be filled with rehearsals of the festival literature, followed by lunch on campus. After lunch, the men of Cantus will clinic a men's group from the area, and rehearse a combined piece with the festival choir that will close the concert. In the evening, the grand choir will perform three pieces, followed by a full concert from Cantus that will conclude with a grand finale number with all the male singers.

The music for the festival is:

Adoramus te Christe, Palestrina
available at www.cpdl.org

(This is also the men's piece for MTVA Mid-State auditions and is also available on the MTVA website under audition repertoire.)
